From the beginning Clark and Lana were never destined to be. When Clark was still a fourteen-year-old boy he couldn’t come within reach of Lana because she wore a Kryptonite necklace. Also known as Clark’s only weakness. Now, Clark can’t even go anywhere near Lana for a second time and maybe the last, because she is a walking Kryptonite. Their love for each other was so strong. It comes to a heartbreaking ending. If only Clark possesses a blue Kryptonite he would become like any other human being and able to live and love Lana, but like she said, “I know what, I need to do with my life now. Life so precious, so beautiful. And to be able to protect that. That’s an amazing gift”. She desires to be in the equal league as Clark; she doesn’t want to be a distraction or a burden any longer. Lana really has changed. I never thought she would be capable to depart Clark the way she did. It’s dreadful to know for a fact you can never be with someone you love with all your heart.
